Dehumidifying Capabilities

Extracting 70-Pints of moisture from the air a day, the Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 effectively dehumidifies a medium sized room at medium humidity level. This unit is also capable of continuous drainage, with a drain hose connection. Although it should be noted that a drain hose is not included with the FFAD7033R1, users will be expected to acquire their own hose.

The Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 boats a 16.3-litre bucket capacity, along with a bucket full indicator, and an automatic shut-off system should the humidifier take in too much moisture.

As is the case with most 70 Litre humidifiers, this unit dehumidifies air faster than a 50L or 30L unit. This means that the unit does not to be kept on as long to get the job done. This means that the user will save on electricity.  This product, in particular, consumes approximately 115V of energy.

Convenience

The Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 is designed for user convenience. With an adjustable humidistat, automatic defrost control, built-in timer, and 3 fan-speeds, its clear Frigidaire had the user in mind while designing this product. Little details, such as the water bucket being located at the front of the unit for easy access, go a long way towards enhancing customer convenience. This unit will also shut ff when the tank is nearly full.

Weighing 47lbs, this unit is easily transportable with both a top and side handle. On top of this, the Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 has casters on its bottom surface, making it immensely easy to move from room to room. As an added note of convenience, this product runs at only 51dBA, which is relatively quiet for a device of the FFAD7033R1’s size.

Design

The FFAD7033R1 is a very well designed machine. As mentioned above, weighing 47lbs, this product is easily transported, thanks to the numerous handles on its body, and the casters placed underneath it. The water bucket being at the front of the device was a particularly good idea, as it allows the user to change the tank whenever necessary, without having to struggle with the dehumidifier.

Aesthetically speaking, the FFAD7033R1 has a simple smooth rectangular shape, that is both soothing to the eye, but also carries with it an air of professionalism and competence.

However, this is not a deal-breaker considering the FFAD7033R1’s high performance in all other aspects of our assessment.
